TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, 2019

AVINOAM SHARON (FONMA ONIVA) UNDER EFRAT-KOWALSKY ARCHITECTS

The French Institute (institut francais) in Tel Aviv is an organization promoting french culture. In 2019, they asked to transform their 60 sqm entrance hall into a multi-purpose space. With the use of curtains and lighting elements, The space was designed to change from an entrance hall to a reading and working space, or even an exhibition and lectures hall.
The custom made modular carpatnery elements were handcrafted from natural french oak, with traditional wood joints. The lighting was designed by Yair Vardi
